  • Broad Band Light [BBL] is the newer/more technological version of IPL. BBL utilizes light waves to target pigment/redness on various layers of the skin.

    This light energy targets the skin cells affected by aging and stimulates your body’s ability to regenerate fresh new skin cells.

    It reverses the damage done to your skin as a result of sustained sun exposure and the aging process. It is the only treatment of its kind capable of changing the expression of the genes associated with longevity, increased lifespan, and aging.

  • Depends on your baseline skin concerns. Skin that has more pigment/redness/sun damage will need more sessions. Results can take 4-6 weeks to take full effect.

  • BBL results are permanent as we are repairing/getting rid of damaged skin cells and stimulating new collagen.

    However- our skin cells are constantly overturning and we are constantly exposing our skin to damages such as sun and pollution. This is why we have to keep up with the treatments to prevent and get rid of new cell turn over/sun damages that we are exposed to.

  • BBL has minimal downtime allowing for a quick return back to your regular scheduled programming!

    It’s normal to have a little bit of redness for 24-48 hours post treatment and we ask to avoid sun exposure, saunas, hot tubs, tanning beds 7-10 days post treatment.

    It’s important to keep your temperature down for 24-48 hours post treatment such as strenuous exercise, and hot showers.

    Makeup is totally fine post treatment!

  • MOXI utilizes non-ablative laser energy to create micro spots on the top of the skin to help with texture and tone on the skin.

    MOXI is great for ALL skin types and was developed for active individuals looking to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging by fixing uneven pigmentation and scarring while improving the general tone and texture of skin.

    Your skin will need to be kept moisturized during the total period of healing time which is about 7-10 days.

    On day 3, you will notice MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) show up on the skin. It will feel like sandpaper and will naturally flake off during the week of healing.

    It’s important that we are gentle with the skin during this time as those MENDS heal.

    Try not to wear make-up for 24 hours post MOXI.

  • This 7 min treatment feels like a cat’s tongue on your face. We utilize numbing cream for ultimate comfort and can utilize other modalities from our Zen Menu if necessary!
