Will it hurt?

Numbing cream, ice, and other special devices are used to help alleviate any possible brief discomforts. Advanced cannula techniques can also be used to decrease discomfort and bruising.

We offer Pro-Nox laughing gas for an additional cost to help ease the excitement/nervousness of the appointment.

What happens if I don’t like it?

IMPOSSIBLE!

No, but really- The good and bad news is that anti wrinkle injections and dermal filler are temporary. Injectables will either wear off on their own, or can always be dissolved with a special injection.

Should I wear any makeup to the appointment?

We will wash off/prep your skin before performing any treatments. However, it is always best to come to your appointment with a clean and makeup free face!

Do You Offer Trainings/shadowing?

We do not offer any training/shadow opportunities at this time, but we may in the future! We will absolutely update y’all when we do.

How long will my tox / filler last?

Tox lasts 3-4 months and fillers last 6 months - 2 years depending on product.

What kind of products do you use?

At Sweet Tox, we only use medical grade FDA approved products to be injected under the skin. These products can only be obtained under a physician’s license and can only be injected legally by a nurse, nurse practitioner, PA, and MD. Dysport, Botox, Juvederm (Ultra, Ultra Plus, Volbella, Vollure, Voluma), Restylane (Restylane, Kysse, Defyne, Refyne, Contour, Silk, Lyft), Versa, RHA (RH1, RH2, RH3, RH4), Sculptra, and Kybella are just some of the approved FDA products that we use to create our amazing results.

Botox vs Dysport, what’s the difference?

Botox and Dysport are two VERY similar products that are only different in their molecular makeup. Dysport is known to kick in SOONER than Botox, however they both last roughly the same amount of time.

Do i tip my injector?

We are no longer accepting tips. You can always tip us by leaving a nice review, buying a skincare item, or bringing your injector some coffee or a treat! Seeing your beautiful faces is enough already!

Do we do needle-less filler?

We do not!! Hyaluron Pens are dangerous and cause bumbs/lumps/unevenness because it is injected too superficially without any control. Not only will this yield no results or actual artistic shape to the lips, but this also means that if someone has superficial vessels on their lippies, there is a higher risk of a vascular occlusion happening! You can read more about these pens via our blog here.

Can I get injections while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Unfortunately, we do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding mamas. The reasons are unknown. We don’t have any literature (& never will) of the effect on babies even through breast milk - although we doubt much of anything. We’re sorry but we promise it will be worth the wait!

What are your payment options?

Visit our payment option page here!

Is there maintenance after I get my injections?

Maintenance varies from person to person and per each injectable we have here at Sweet Tox. Your injector will be happy to answer any and all questions you may have!

Do you offer any discounts?

Special offers will be announced via social media (Follow us on Instagram and Facebook) along with Newsletter Announcements (Sign Up Here).

Special discounts are given to our clients in the military.

Can I bring my kiddo(s)/ a guest?

If you do bring a guest, please ask first, and they may either wait in the lobby, or observe ~silently~ in the rooms, per injector. Children will no longer be permitted to accompany you during your appointment, but if you absolutely must, please communicate with us prior! We're humans too and understand that life happens.

will i bruise?

When there is a sharp needle being taken to your face, there is always a potential chance for bruising. If you are an easy bruiser, oral and topical arnica, and bromelain can be used to help with bruising. Avoiding alcohol, fish oil, aspirin, and ibuprofen 3 days prior to the appointment can also help prevent bruising.
